Thanks to everyone for a wonderful launch of ScienceSLAM Helsinki! The first event yesterday at Nosturi Alakerta has been a big success with over 180 people in the great audience cheering to 6 amazing performers who really put themselves out there. The title of the Slammer of the night went to Boris Vassilev who gathered most of the votes with a self-composed song about his protein of choice, MLN-64.
We will upload some video and photo footage soon, so you can check out the performances again. An apology also to everyone who did not have the best view to the stage or had to settle with some little suboptimal seating. We will try to arrange a more flexible solution for next time.
